Moose Hunting
Moose hunting is done form our Main lodge at Pourvoirie Mer Bleue, a few spike camps in Zone 13 or from our new location at Camachigama.   We offer DIY hunts in Zone 10 from the main lodge.  Guided and Semi-Guided options are available from the Zone 13 camps and Camachigama.   All areas boast good moose populations, and the variety in hunting style is afforded by the different areas.

Want to book the adventure of a lifetime?

We’re here to answer all of your questions, and recommend the right experience for you to meet your expectations!
Option 1
Pourvoirie Mer Bleue

Our main lodge with 4 star accommodations offers moose hunting on a “Do It Yourself” basis in zone 10 west located 2 hours north of Ottawa or 3 hours from the Thousand Islands bridge border crossing. Only bull’s may be harvested in this unit and we limit the harvest to one bull per group. We take a maximum of 3 groups for moose in this area and offer the entire exclusive territory of 28 sq. km’s. Cost is $750 per person plus licenses and taxes for 7 days/7 nights.

Option 2
Fauvel & Monkman

Our second option is to travel another 6 hours farther north into the Abitibi-Temiskaming region of Quebec where Zone 13 offers a much higher moose population. We have two remote camps available with exclusive hunting territories of 15-20 sq. km’s each. We offer fully guided and semi guided hunts in this area and we take up to 4 groups per camp per year based on the large hunting territories. In 2017, 3 out of 7 groups were successful with all groups hearing or seeing moose. Fishing for walleye and pike as well as small game hunting is included in this package. Two cow tags are available each year in this area and the cost is $750 per person plus licenses and taxes for a 7 day/7 night trip. Add $1500 for a fully guided hunt.

Option 3
Camachigama

Our 3rd option is to travel a few hours further north to our NEW Camp at Camachigama.  With 12 cottages and over 226 square km of exclusive territory to hunt, we have the capacity here to put you in prime moose hunting areas with great moose populations and each group will get 10-15 square km exclusively at minimum.  Two cow tags are available each year in this area and the cost is $750 per person plus licenses and taxes for a 7 day/7 night trip. Add $1500 for a fully guided hunt.
