Where are you and how do I get there?

Our main fishing camps are located on Gross Ile which is an island in the middle of lac Camachigama, approximately 2 hours east of Louvicourt, Qc. on highway 117. We also have several drive to outpost camps used for fishing on interior lakes and hunting.

Please refer to our printable directions for information on how to get here.

How do we get to the island?

You will call the main office of the lodge at (819) 737-8626 when you turn off of highway 117. We then know to pick you up at the landing/parking area with our barge in 2 hours. The boat ride from the landing to the island will take approximately 15 mins and is a great way to begin relaxing and enjoying the lake. Please pack your gear in waterproof bags as the weather for the boat ride is not always sunny!

Please equip yourselves with flashlights, candles, batteries for CPAP machines etc for the night time hours when the generator will be shut down.

What’s the difference between an “upgraded” and “regular” cabin?

We have 3 “upgraded cabins” on Gross Ile. Although we clean and maintain all our cabins equally, the upgraded cabins are generally those that have been renovated most recently. They also include a propane bbq (bring your own propane) as well as an upgraded boat with 20hp electric start motor.
